Profile Project Information Engineer

We currently seek a Project Information Engineer for one of our clients.

Tasks & responsibilities
  • Review Client IM Project Requirement and Specification.
  • Establish and agree with the PMT the project documentation & data electronic and hard copy filing requirements plus internal organization and communication rules.
  • Prepare Information & Documentation Specifications and Management Plan to be included in Project setup.
  • Coordinate with IS team to ensure that Project DB and Tools are properly setup as per Project Requirement.
  • Advise Engineering, Supply Chain, Completion and quality teams to ensure Information and Documentation requirements are clearly understood and complied with.
  • Review Information and documentation requirements section to be included by the supply chain in the project special PO terms and conditions.
  • Review Information and documentation requirements section to be included in subcontracts.
  • Coordinate, Control Information Management Process and support its execution inside Project.
  • On a regular basis Monitor and Report per Project Discipline (through KPIs), Information and Documentation progress status.
  • Liaise with PMT and Client to ensure quality over control and content of delivered Information and Documentation.
  • Manage progressive hand over to the client of completed project information & documentation in accordance with the agreed procedures.
  • At project completion, prepare a close-out report on information and documentation management on the project, including specific recommendations on where company's standard procedure and methodology need improvement.

Requirements Project Information Engineer

Education and Experience:

  • University degree or Technical College Diploma in Engineering.

Technical Skills:

  • SBM Technical Software’s knowledge.
  • Database Management understanding (DB Architecture).
  • Skilled in Documentation & Data Management, Governance and Information Systems.
  • Full EPCC Process detailed knowledge.
  • Business Intelligence understanding.
  • Good MS-Excel skills.

Behavioural Skills:

  • Good Communication Skills (Able to embark and to drive people).
  • Organizational Skills.
  • Ability to innovate and to promote solutions.
  • Driver, Proactive, Rigorous and Autonomous.
