Technical Quality Controller

The job
As a Technical Quality Controller you will be the first point of contact for reviewing/ approving documentation, drawings and calculations.
You will maintain the knowledge database within the company and act as an advisor for all technical aspects of heavy lift operations. In your role as an advisor you act as a sounding board to the management team, R&D, Fleet, and the new building department for ships construction aspects
Via technical audits and inspections you will also ensure the quality of the in-house heavy lift knowledge.

The profile

• Naval Architecture skills are advantageous
• Experience in heavy-lift engineering
• Practical experience in heavy-lift operations is advantageous
• Qualified auditor
• Basic AutoCAD skills
• Good coaching and teaching capabilities
• Extensive knowledge and experience of heavy lift industry are advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of structural engineering
• Extensive knowledge of marine engineering (vessel stability, motions, etc.)
• Fully conversant in Dutch and English (verbally and in writing)
• Education BSc level
