Construction Manager

Jobdescription:

1. Position:

1. Reports to the project Manager

2. Coordinates with Client Construction Team

2. Responsibilities:

1. Plans, organizes, coordinates and supervises Grontmij Industry’s Construction Management Team

2. Organizes and maintains safety and security to meet all requirements

3. Represents Grontmij Industry to Client on jobsite and for external matters with other parties

4. Controls and coordinates contractors

5. Monitors, forecasts, controls and reports progress, quality and expenditures at the jobsite, utilizing Grontmij Industry’s resources as required

6. Organizes and controls contract administration

7. Leads the development of project and construction quality plans

8. Leads the development of temporary facilities for Grontmij Industry and contractors

3. Authority:

1. Delegated authority of Project Manager as assigned

2. Approves all changes in the scope of work and construction execution methods at the jobsite

3. Approves all commitments/invoices to/from contractors at the jobsite within limits of assignment

4. Approves all assignments, commitments and expenditure of Grontmij Industry’s Construction Management Team at the jobsite

5. Approves acceptance of contracted work or part a thereof

6. Can delegate a part of his authority to other members of the construction task force

o Werktijden : 45 uren week

o Talenkennis : Nederlands, Frans, Engels

o Project : Revamp Farmaceutische installatie

o Werforganisatie : U treedt op als CM, en leidt hiervoor een Construction Management team (Circa 5 man)
