Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities
Providing technical assistance to Sales in contacts with prospective vendors during project bid phase.
Specifying mechanical equipment (compressors, process separators, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.).
Developing key documents (equipment requisitions, specifications, datasheets, calculations, equipment list).
Evaluating of technical bids to select subcontractors and vendors.
Checking of vendor submitted documents.
Inter-disciplinary information exchange with regard to mechanical equipment.
Attending meetings with client and vendors.
Maintaining quality assurance and assure the use of modern engineering practices, methods, materials and equipment through a continuous program of technical contact between members of the section and technical societies, clients, manufacturers and regulatory agencies.
Preparing of input for FEED studies. Feasibility studies (compressor re-wheel, new equipment of existing facilities, de-bottlenecking etc.).
Preparing of input for Basis for Design documents, reporting findings, recommendations and solutions.
Preparing input to bid documents (Equipment costs, engineering manhour estimates, qualifications / clarifications to bid documents).

•Completed Mechanical education at University or Higher Vocational Education level (TU/HTS)
•(experience) in designing (heavy) mechanical equipment
•Enterprising and be able to use creative methods to find solutions
•Good editorial skills
